Model produced by Autoart in its "Millenium" collection
Developed at the start of the Fiat 600 by Carlos Abate, this Abarth 1000 TC made its first rounds in 1967.
At the end of the 60s, it will join its category at the European Touring Car Championship, rubbing shoulders with the Mini and its 997 cm3, prepared by another sorcerer, this time of British origin, a certain John Cooper.
Used by Scuderia San Marco in 1970 at the 24 Hours of Spa, with no.86, it finished 23rd at the CG and 1st in Div1/Gr2
In 1971, with the class increasing from 1000cc to 1300cc, it was withdrawn from the competition.
