CONDITION:
MOVEMENT - Running fine and marked TITUS GENEVE, caliber Landeron 48 chronograph, 17 jewels (L 48 - see picture), manual wind mechanical, SWISS. Machine is very clean, has no oxidation and no flaws. The ticking and balance movement seems very strong and the accuracy is excellent for a piece of this vintage. Seems oiled and never to have been disassembled - has no tools marks on it. The chrono works perfect totalizing correctly the minutes, the push buttons are smooth and operate the chrono easily, also the reset is easily performed by the push of the lower button with all the chrono hands returning to Zero with precison and accuracy. Both chrono hands, when resting in the stop reset position, point exactly to the Zero markers. I've checked the accuracy of the watch and the difference in 24 hours is very good, I would say about 20-30 seconds fairly consistent (laying flat and facing up - 1 position), and of course can easily be adjusted. Sure this is very good for such a vintage watch.
DIAL - Unrestored in very good condition. Has no scratches, no cracks, no deformations, no pitting, no flaws at all. No oxidation or yellowing. However dial is evenly darkened from time and dirt/dust evenly scattered, especially around hour markers and sub-dials (patina). No fading to the letters, scales and markings (see pictures). The hour markers are gold plated and raised in perfect condition with no spots of oxidation. Subsidiary dials are nicely conserved. Scales perfect. All markings are intact.
HANDS - All hands are straight and original and have no flaws, no bends and no deformations. No oxidation to the gold plated hands. In perfect condition with no spots of oxidation, no scratches.
CASE - The case is gold and polished/brushed sides, very beautiful. Unrestored. Few minor and very acceptable marks and signs of normal everyday wear like micro scratches and couple tiny nicks that are hardly visible in pictures. No scuffs or cracks. Case has no deformations, all the edges are nice and crisp, with no wear to corners and edges. No damaged corners. Lugs have an exact 20mm opening and are not bent by accidental deformation in any direction.
WINDING CROWN - excellent, no dents, scratches or scuffs. Minor brassing to edges. Setting the hour perfectly.
CHRONO PUSHERS - original with little wear and some normal brassing to edges. No dents, scratches or scuffs. Actuating very smoothly.
BACK COVER - gold solid marked with nice brand marks and Logo/ Seal (see pic). Snap-on type. Cover has no deformations. Has some light softened scratches from use and a few tiny nicks/soft dents, still acceptable. No dings or scuffs. No oxidations. Snaps easily and locks firmly. CRYSTAL - acrylic and polished - no obvious scratches. No cracks.
BAND - as new, very nice. Very soft touch and flexible. NO wear and no flaws.
All perfectly clean !
