Geschichte, Gesetz - Anzahl: 1 - Limitierte Auflage - Buch

In folio, three books bound in a volume, the complete work of Clement Alexandrian, translated from Ancient Greek into Latin by Aurelius Herueto.
Protrettico, Pedagogo and Stromata outline a literary trilogy, in which the Greek community is first urged to convert to faith in the Messiah, then educated to take part in an existential project characterized by frugality and sharing, by the fear of the Father and by the love for the Son, by recognition and obedience to religious authority, which draws as much from the Sacred Scriptures as from classical philosophy and literature , of which he is a deep connoisseur.

Eighteenth-century full leather binding, spine with 5 raised bands, decorated with fleurons and title printed in gold on a brown label, signs of wear. Three title pages, of which the first is illustrated in an architectural frame with an erased owner’s stamp at the base. Interior on white and perfect paper. Bright inks, a few stains, otherwise very fresh. Pp. (2); 48; 114; (2); 277; (Index 50); 2;
