Rare. First edition of Des Jeux Mathematiques attributed to Jacques Lacombe (1724-1811) followed by "Dictionnaire Des Jeux Familiers, Ou Des Amusements de Société", published respectively in 1799 and 1797 as the 3rd and 2nd part of the "Games" of the methodical Encyclopaedia, known as the "Panckoucke Encyclopaedia".

Illustrated with 16 plates, including several of which are mounted on guards.

Period full tree sheep binding, smooth spine adorned with two mosaicked labels and a gilded embossed motif. Sound binding, the leather is a bit aged, lacks on the crowns, the gilding is a bit faded, abrasions on the covers, damage corners. Inside in good condition, an angular water stain which overflows a bit on the first 50 pages and a light water stain on the first 5 plates, the rest is in very good condition and fresh.
