Beautiful handcraft by one of her creative master silversmiths from that time!
TONI RIIK (1891-1972) date of birth in Dorpat-Estland.
From 1919 to 1922 she attended the School of Applied Arts in Maagdenburg,
In 1930, after a short stay in Paris, she returned to Ludwigsburg, where she established the Riik Schmuck Werkstätte: she manufactured and designed the new filigree jewellery based on old Scandinavian circles and spiral jewellery.
Riick described these jewellery as "Rungholt jewellery."
In 1939, the goldsmith bought studio Adolf Regelmann in Stuttgart, the monopoly for manufacturing the "Rungholt jewellery".
Tony Riick died in 1972 in Winnenden, Germany.
