Maurice Tillieux would gain eternal fame with his Gil Jourdan, but he laid the foundation of his fame with his stories around Félix. Not only are his stories praised, but above all his unique drawing style.
For Heroic, Tillieux wrote and illustrated nearly 70 short stories about Félix. This lot concerns the upper half of plate 4 of this story, published in number 2 of the 8th year (1952).
The Dutch text is pasted over the French text in the balloons.
The work has a size of 24 x 31 cm (art) and is in good condition. Missing a small piece of paper from the top, well outside the artwork. The photos are part of the description.
