Vilhelm Theodor Fischer (1857-1928) was an award-winning Danish animal painter. Fischer studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and was lauded as one of the most talented animal painters in Denmark. He won multiple awards with his paintings, including three times the Neuhausen Prize (in 1883, 1887 and 1891) and twice the Eckersberg Medaillen (in 1911 and 1912).

The dimensions are; with frame ca. 45,5*35 cms and without 35*23cms.
The painting is in very good condition, as you can see on the photographs, and ready to hang. Frame will be gifted to the buyer.
