New edition, revised, corrected and expanded, complete in 6 volumes.
Followed by two volumes of the Supplement, published in 1735. The first:
general edition was the only one published during the author’s lifetime, in 1664, in one folio volume.


Complete with the frontispiece engraved by Duflos Desmarets and the portrait of the author
also engraved by Duflos. As is often the case, without the plate in volume 2 of the Supplement.

Moréri’s dictionary is still a useful book to have today, as the first
repository of biographical notes, especially concerning the history of thought in
16th century Europe.”
