Karl Wagner - Vissersdorp met figuren en boten

Karl Wagner was born in Vienna. He has made several paintings in the Netherlands, including in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and the places around lake IJssel and Zeeland. That is probably where this painting was made. He was one of the painters who came to the Netherlands because of the interest evoked by the Hague school. Most of his work is offered in Germany and Austria. Fortunately, there is still work owned by private collectors in the Netherlands. For lovers of old atmospheric harbour views, his work is an asset!

Painting is in very good condition, canvas size 69 cm x 55 cm. The frame has minimal signs of use.
