Two Galleys, one of with Medici weapon.
High quality free drawing. Close to the work of Stefano Della Bella. One of his etchings with views of the port of Livorno (Ca. 1654-55) shows a ship with same details as the caryatides and the large lantern. I added a detail from the etching as last image for refence only. (reference: De Vesme 845)
Unsigned with annotation in brown ink on the backside, were also faded pencil drawing of a variant of the upper deck.
Washed drawing, pen and brown ink.

Enjoyable appearance with restoration of upper left corner and some concealed stains in the background.
