Eppe de Haan (5-11-1949) - Haags Uitzicht

Epp de Haan was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague (1969-1974). After his studies he worked as a painter. In 1978 he received the Prize for Young Painters. In 1992 he made the switch to sculpture. Since 1993 he has been working in Pietrasanta, Italy, where he has been proficient in working in Carrara marble. He also makes bronze sculptures. In 2018, De Haan had a major exhibition at Huygens' Hofwijck in Voorburg.

The gouache and the frame are in good condition. The matte has some brown spots.
The work is called “Haags uitzicht”.
Total dimensions of the work are 51 x 66 cm. The work measures 36 x 23.5 cm.
