Between 1978 and 1983 Malcom Willits (the famous collector who “discovered” Carl Barks in 1957) commissioned Floyd Gottfredson (1905-1986) to paint 24 Watercolor-Paintings, depicting scenes from Gottfredson’s most famous Mickey Mouse stories of the 1930’s/40’s.
