This iconic Gibigiana model by architect-designer Achille Castiglioni was acquired from a leading shop of contemporary designer lighting in Paris, when it was first created in 1980.
Despite its age, this lamp is in perfect condition and free of scratches.
A 45 cm high Gibigiana table lamp, consisting of a self-supporting profiled structure forming a diffuser with adjustable reflector, the whole unit is made of aluminium with a coloured lacquered finish.
The moveable, wheel-adjusted reflector is fitted with a mirror lens that focuses and directs the luminous output.
The Gibigiana is equipped with a dimmer switch which is incorporated in the shell. This lamp was designed by Achille Castiglioni, who created an original, graphic and efficient model.
