Cornelis van Essen (c.1690-c.1770) - Ruiter voor een herberg

A painting on panel by Cornelis van Essen (Haarlem, 1690-1770). Hand signed with CvE at the bottom left, see the photo, black paint on a dark brown background. Difficult to picture well (see the last 3 photos), but it is certainly present. The dimensions with the frame are (W x H x D) 40 x 35 x 5 cm. Dimensions of the wooden panel: 27.5 cm x 22 cm. The panel can also be sent on request without a frame!
