Etna Rosato of Tenuta delle Terre Nere is one of the best and most unpredictable expressions of Nerello Mascalese, a typical grape of the slopes of Mount Etna, capable of giving full-bodied, robust and very characteristic wines. In its rosé expression it can be lively without being frivolous, fresh without being superficial, tense without being too demanding, with structure without being austere: a wine that has the body of a white but the soul of a red.

Marco De Grazia, founder of Tenuta delle Terre Nere, already known for his great interpretations of Etna Rosso and Bianco, has started producing this Etna Rosato in 2007, with the intention of satisfying the 3-year-old daughter, incredibly attracted to the pink colour. It took a few years of experimentation to develop a good and well balanced rosé wine.
