F, "Le Daguerre" balloon mail, travelled from Paris to Moscow, November 9 to 24, 1870, see the pictures. Arrival in Moscow in the back with 3 date postmarks. It seems that the Austrian option requested was not followed because of the rate, the mail was sent via Prussia, which was at war.
Affectionate letter from Caroline Couret to her parents in Moscow, including thoughts for the Clairettes, Madame Vernier and the Vassilievs.
