Very large and wide tooth of the extinct large tooth shark; Carcharocles megalodon. This tooth is 14.4 cm long and no less than 11.2 cm wide. The tooth comes from the upper jaw. It was surfaced by a friend who is a diver, in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Carolina. The tooth comes from the Miocene and is between 15 and 20 million years old. The tooth is completely original, no restoration. The photos speak for themselves.
