A fantastic, almost matching pair of quality English gun-carrying leather cases c1910.
Used typically by country house gamekeepers or for grouse, or game hunting.
Both are in excellent and original condition with a great looking patina and good stitching. Made from a quality thick hide leather The interiors are lined with compartmentalized interiors for the separated gun but and barrels. Nice decorated original unbroken carrying handles though a shoulder strap has been misplaced on one of the cases, an easy replacement if needed.
The straps and brass buckles on both cases are all working and original.
These quality cases will be a great addition for a collector of 12 gauge antique shotguns, or for simply as a wall or standing display item for the home with an English interior or shop display.
