Rarely offered and very detailed hand painted unique Frisian grandfather’s clock by Wuba/ Warmink from the early 1970s, with the depiction of the 'Battle by Trafalgar 1805'.
Dial and cabinet were painted and signed by painter Frits Pieters (1913-2004) who occasionally did paintings for Wuba/Warmink.
The Battle of Trafalgar on October 21, 1805 was the most important naval battle during the Third Coalition War between the United Kingdom led by the on the clock depicted Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson and Napoleon's French empire, led by French Vice Admiral Pierre de Villeneuve.
