From March 25th to 31st, 1969, Lennon and Ono held their first Bed-In in suite 902 of the Hilton hotel in Amsterdam. Just before that, they were married, and with this action they thought they could use the attention that their marriage attracted to promote world peace. In the Amsterdam Hilton, the young couple did indeed spend the entire time in bed, with the press.
