André Sas is a photographer, born on 26th September 1928 in Marseille and died on 2nd April 2020 at the age of 91 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Val de Marne, France).
André Sas was the nephew of photographer Louis Foucherand.
In 1956 and 1957 he was a freelance photographer and correspondent for Odhama Press, a British publishing house. He works and partners with Raymond Darolle in the Europress news agency.
He regularly publishes in “Paris-Match”, “L'Express”, “Le Point”, “Nouvel Observateur”, “Détective and his photos are successively distributed by Europress, Rapho, Gamma and Sygma and a specialized music agency, Mephisto. Today the photographs of André Sas once distributed by Rapho are in the Gamma-Rapho collection.
