HETTIER & VINCENT
A pair of beautiful French art deco lamps in nickel plated bronze. Holding globes in moulded-pressed glass produced by Verreries des Hanots. Like Verlys one of the brands of the large Holophane glass company. These globes are always unsigned and are represented in the catalogue of Verreries des Hanots under the name 'boule turbans'. The lamps are represented in the Hettier & Vincent catalogue supplement #1 plate 126.
The nickel plated solid brass or bronze fixtures are of excellent quality.
The lamps are about 19 cm high. And the shades have a diameter of 15 cm. The lamps are in very good condition. The bases are renickeled and patinated. They are rewired with cloth covered twisted cord.
On the picture they still have their old B22 bayonet socket but small bulbs for them are nowadays almost impossible to get by. So for European countries I will replace them for European E14 screw-in sockets and I will add two LED bulbs to the parcel.
For the USA or Japan I will place a US candelabra base sockets and 2-prong plugs.
Safe packaging guaranteed : As specialized restorer of French art Deco lighting for over 20 years I ship my parcels worldwide with the fragile items well protected and fully insured.
