A nice pair of authentic 1925-1930 French art deco wall lights. The solid brass or bronze mounts hold two beautiful slip shades in frosted moulded-pressed glass by Charles Schneider, Epinay France. This nice and searched after model is always signed and is known under the name of "corniche aux libellules" (slip shade the Dragonflies).
The sconces are about 36 cm high and 16 cm wide. They project 16 cm from the wall. And are in very good condition. Some very small chips here and there , common for 90 y/o shades and they won't notice with the lamps in place. I have renickeled and patinated the fixtures. The lamps come rewired. On the picture it still holds its old bayonet socket but I placed European E14 sockets now so you will have no difficulties using our new generation light bulbs. Two LED bulbs will be added to the parcel. For the USA Canada or Japan I will place American candelabra base sockets.
Safe packaging guaranteed : As specialized restorer of French art Deco lighting for over 20 years I ship my parcels worldwide with the fragile items well protected and fully insured.
