The meteorite in this lot is a beautiful specimen of the well-known MURCHISON meteorite, a CM2-type carbonaceous chondrite that fell in Australia in 1969.
Chondrites contain the oldest material that we can find in the Solar System, having an estimated age of over 4,550 million years. However, a 7,000-million-year-old matter particle has been found in MURCHISON, being thus the oldest material ever described and found.
An excellent opportunity to add this wonder of the universe to your collection.
All our meteorites come with an IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association) certificate, so we guarantee for life the authenticity of all our meteorites. Buy with guarantees.
Regards and best wishes.
