This is a nice glazed ancient Egyptian open-worked scarab. The underside of the scarab is inscribed with a hes vase, two ankh signs and two lotus flowers.

Condition: Clypeus slightly chipped
Provenance: old private collection, bought ca. 1920 from the „Khawam Brothers“ in Cairo
