Kasumi Asami 1890－1974
Taisho-Japanese painter of the Showa period.
Born May 4, 1897. Born in Hyogo prefecture.
Learned the first painting from Moritsuki Castle, and later studied under Suisho Nishiyama in Kyoto to make flower and bird paintings more effective. Moved to Nagoya in the first year of the Taisho era and won the first prize for "Pottery Kiln Drawing" at the 4-year exhibition. Also frequently selected at the Tei exhibition since the second "Kotohira, which smokes in the rain." Established 1928 Chukyo Art Institute. After the war, "Pine forest map" and "Western dog map" were selected at Nitten. Received the Aichi Cultural Achievement Award. August 29, 1974 Sunset. 84 years old. His real name is Torajiro.
