Beautiful silver antique, late 19th / early 20th century signet ring "Zazpiak Bat".
Note: The ring size was increased at some point, which is probably where the silver hallmarks must have been.
Unmarked but tested for silver.
"Zazpiak Bat" is the heraldic nickname for the Basque coat of arms, which is comprised of the seven named provinces and their unity. It was designed by the historian Jean de Jaurgain in 1897 for the Congrès et Fêtes de la Tradition, celebrated in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
