The Poljot 3133 mechanism traces its history back to the Swiss ETA Valjoux 7734, bought by 1 MWF in the 1970s.
Russian watchmakers made significant improvements to the design of the Swiss Valjoux 7734 movement, increasing the frequency of the vibrations to 21,600 and increasing the number of stones from 17 to 23.
