The B-set is a 7-part dinnerware, designed in 1997 by Hela Jongerius. By baking the clay at too high a temperature, each element is somewhat transformed. The imperfect dinnerware is one of the first designs in which individuality is created within serial production, an important theme in the work of Jongerius.
This B-set red was produced between 2007 and 2015 and is no longer made. This is the only plate we have on offer.
The B-set is now seen as an icon in Dutch designer history and is part of the permanent collection of a large number of museums, such as: Stedelijk Museum ’s Hertogenbosch, Centraal Museum, Utrecht, Zuiderzee Museum, Enkhuizen.
