This woodblock print is part of the series 'One Hundred Chrysanthemums'. Throughout Japan, the chrysanthemum is revered as a symbol of durability and perfection, and it is the official coat of arms of the emperor. These lyrical illustrations are a very good reflection of the individual character of the many different varieties. With expressive lines and vibrant colours.

The woodblock print is in good condition. Small stain at the bottom (please view photo 6) Backed with double thin paper (please view photo 8) which is only connected at 1 side (please view photo 9 of back with opened paper). The binding holes can still be seen. Please view the photos for the details.
The woodblock print will be shipped by registered post in sturdy cardboard packaging.
