This is a French silver plated over bronze car mascot of a cockerel.
Signed on the base by the famous sculpter C.H. Pailett and stamped with the bronze mark R./D.
Is approximately 5 inch high [125mm.]
Mounted on a black wooden base, with base 170 mm high
Used on Voisin cars in the service of the president of the French Republic at the time of Alexandre Millerand 1920-1924.
