This photo was taken in Dallingeweer in the province of Groningen and is part of the series Stills.

This series consists of snapshots of the landscape. Hence the title "Stills", as of a still image from a film. That's what the picture is. Time goes on and the landscape develops further, like in a movie.

I have captured an image from it to display. The photos in this series are therefore unique, because the image I have captured will never come back in this way. Moreover, it is only a part of the landscape and that gives it a certain intimacy and a unique character.
