Römisches Reich Bronze Knie-Fibula-Brosche - 3.5×2×2 cm
2nd century AD.

A complete Roma brooch of 'knee type design, with a small semi-circular top-plate; a short fat bow incorporating a 90 degree bend, (hence the name); complete with the original pin and catch plate, which is set at right angles to the body.

The Knee brooch was the most popular fibula among Roman soldiers in the 2nd century AD.
