The famous Mary Poppins, an extremely rare work, manufactured in limited edition by Antonio Zen. Unique piece, splendidly decorated. Featured in various cataloguesThe factory “G.B. Zen & Figlio” was founded in Nove (Vicenza) in 1885 by Giovanni Battista Zen, in partnership with Demetrio Primon.
In 1914, when Giovanni Battista Zen died, his son Antonio took over the company management, trying to strengthen the company and expand its position on the market.
The modeller Pacifico Pianezzola collaborated with them in the early years of the 20th century.
Around the mid-1920s, when Antonio’s son Giovanni Battista (the second with this name) came to work to the factory, the company’s name changed to “A. Zen & Figlio.”
In the 1930a, the factory was located in the Vicenza province, in Nove, in Via A. Munari. They had three electric and three wood-fired kilns for their production and had 75 employees.
In the same years the factory collaborated with Ruffo Giuntini Company.
