A Thai ceremonial dagger, Kuman Thong, also known as dha.

The blade is decorated with a copper-and-silver koftgari with horn grip and

talismanic figure. Kuman Thong, mentioned in a Thai folk tale of the 18th century; the story 'Khun Chang Khun Phaen'. In that story, a stillborn fetus from the body of a woman is used to obtain a powerful spirit. Black magic reigns supreme. A form of necromancy for which the Thai word Saiyasat is used, ไสยศตร์ in Thai.
It is supposed to bring the owner luck and fortune when respected properly.
