Original vintage photo-lithos from Helmut Newton's first edition published from special collection of photolithos (first edition 1978).
The litho is from the rare 'Special Collection, 24 Photo Lithos', published from the Rapoport Printing Corporation, New York, 1978.
Presentation is in a handcut rag mat and back mat in German acid-free quality for museam presentation. Also solid cardboard included for great preservation.

Helmut Newton (1920-2004) was one of the most influential photographers of all time. In the 1970s he acquired international fame by mainly working for the French Vogue. He was renowned for his controversial scenarios, bold lighting and striking compositions in public or private settings, rather than in a Studio. He acquired many honorary titles and awards including Commandeur de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
