Okimono in ivory (walrus tooth) finely sculpted.
It comes from Japan and was sculpted before 1900.
The expert estimates that it was during the Meiji period around 1890
The "okimono" shows a scene with animals and vegetation (rock and bamboo forest).
There's an inlay in brass or other metal in the tiger's eye, you can also find a snake and a hawk at the top.
It's signed on the base with a red mark that I don't know how to identify.
