Okimono - Meereselfenbein - Tier - Japan - Meiji Periode (1868-1912)
Sehr guter Zustand, siehe Beschreibung - 13.8×3.2×4.8 cm

Okimono in ivory (walrus tooth) finely sculpted.
It comes from Japan and was sculpted before 1900.
The expert estimates that it was during the Meiji period around 1890

The "okimono" shows a scene with animals and vegetation (rock and bamboo forest).
There's an inlay in brass or other metal in the tiger's eye, you can also find a snake and a hawk at the top.
It's signed on the base with a red mark that I don't know how to identify.

Attached is the document from the expert, Mr Jan Wolter van den Berg.

Height: +- 13.8 cm
Length +- 4.8 cm
Width +- 3.2 cm
Weight: +- 170 g

The item is delivered with an authenticity certificate which will be sent to the buyer.
