Six Rolex teaspoons featuring the Lion Monument of Lucerne, also known as the Wounded Lion of Lucerne, a sculpture carved between 1819 and 1821 by the Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen from a wall of rock in the city of Lucerne to commemorate the deaths in 1792 of 760 Swiss Guards during the French Revolution.
Three of the teaspoons were among the first ones made by the Rolex brand. Under 'Bucherer' they have an inscription 'WATCHES'. These are three collector pieces that are very hard to find.
Three Rolex silver spoons in silver plate representing the protestant cathedral of Zurich called the Grossmunster, a Romanesque style church that played a very important role in the Protestant Reformation. The building dates from the 12th and 13th centuries. These teaspoons were among the first ones made by the Rolex brand. They also have an inscription 'WATCHES' under 'Bucherer' .
These teaspoons are a true jewel for the fans of the Rolex brand and for the Swiss history aficionados alike, due to their age.
