A good and early cloisonné enamel on copper cloisonné dragon bowl, measuring circa 20½cm in diameter and weighing 664g, finely decorated in polychrome enamels held within cloisonné copper wire reserves, with central theme of lotus surrounded by simple, geometric patterns in various concentric bands, the walls decorated with two yellow dragons competing for the flaming pearl, the outside decorated similarly.
Condition: Generally very good, very minor wear to the enamel.
