‘L’enfant Sauvage’, also known as ‘Béché’ is a dynamic and powerful minimalist graffiti artist.
He has been practising his art for 15 years.
Like any good graffiti artist, he first started on walls.
But one day a question changed his approach.
Considering that graffiti is considered as an art in its own right, and according to him, what defines art is timelessness, why create graffiti doomed to be erased or covered, and therefore with a limited duration in time?
This work is the number 2 in his collection titled ‘apparence trompeuse’ (Deceptive Appearance).
Its purpose is to question the first sight opinion of a person.
The interest is to look succinctly at this painting giving an impression of culmination, then to dwell on it, in order to realize the assumed imperfections, and the different details of his personality...
