René Juste (Paris 1868 - Grosrouvre 1954) - Vue de Nemours

Beschreibung
René Juste (Paris 1868 - Grosrouvre 1954) - Vue de Nemours
Öl auf Leinwand, auf Tafel

Origins: Artist's studio.

The artist's work and career are poorly documented. A pupil of Cormon, he sometime exhibited at the ‘Salon des Artistes français’ between 1899 and 1925, as well as at the ‘Salon des indépendants’. He received some order from the State between 1906 and 1911, he mainly painted landscapes. He reveals his predilection for the rainy atmospheres and the snowy views of the Seine-et-Marne sites whose he is familiar with. He also worked at Crozant for many years alongside Armand Guillaumin and Paul Madeline, whom he was a friend and colleague. His views of the melting valleys are as popular as his snowy landscapes.

We own a large part of the artist's Studio.
