Twenty-sheet kammavaca and two wooden covers, complete - Burma - 19th century.
This kammavaca manuscript set from the 19th century, in lacquered wood, consists of two covers in gilded and lacquered wood (teak) and 20 sheets of lacquered copper (pages). This set is complete. Each sheet contains six lines of Pali script, square Burmese writing in black magyi zi lacquer made from tamarind seeds. Kammavaca set in lacquered brass and copper.
